Tempo, the premier metronome app for iOS is now available as this free Lite version. Tempo was featured as "New and Noteworthy" and "Staff Favorite" by Apple on the main iTunes landing page. Now you can enjoy Tempos core features before upgrading to its full suite of features.

Tempo Lites engine is written from the ground up for high accuracy and stability. It keeps going even in device lock mode, making it a useful aid for live drumming.

As a special treat, weve included the Tracker Module which helps in your practices by tracking the number of bars or time played.

As opposed to purchasing Tempo, upgrading Tempo Lite nets you a dark colour scheme for the flipside views (instead of light).

Excellent functionality out of free version. After exploring, who knows I will upgrade.
After trying a couple of different free metronome apps, I can confidently say that this is the best one I have tried so far. For a free app with a paid version, the functionality is quite good. Plus, there are no ads whatsoever. There could be more time signature options, but that is an upgrade, and as a high school musician, I can get by with the options provided. I have no other complaints. This is a really solid app.
You can set subdivisions, beats, measures, accents, bar counter, timer, even automatic tempo change. It sounds beautifully, it looks badass. If there is no God, who made this app then?
Always use this for piano, and its perfect. Its simple and intuitive but also has many different customizable features that are pretty neat.
I love this app. I use it almost every day to train for my running events.
This has the best features-for free!I love it and would for sure recommend it to any musician.

Some bad moments

It doesnt work after update on IPhone 4. Really shame because it was the best metronome I had ;(
Il bip accentato fa un rumore che non dovrebbe fare. Ho verificato che il problema non è hardware.
This app keeps me in good timing. When the measure is at 3/4 or another time signature, I can keep up by slowing the beat down. Im learning alternating thumb picking on my acoustic guitar.
So glad my teacher suggested this app. Im an adult over 50 relearning to count as I play. Wish my teacher (when I was younger) pushed counting more, then I wouldnt have to pay $ now just to learn a song because I was having trouble with the timing. Great app!
Simple clean intuitive user interface. Easy to use and get started yet has many complex rhythms if you need them. A very well done app.
